-Size pictures to the same dimensions for inclusion in documents etc.
-Reduce filesize for Emailing photos to friends and relatives
-optimise files for use on the web

Dpr Picture resizer makes it simple to change the size and compression ratio of your pictures.
It works with Jpegs, Bitmaps, and some .gif files.
Simply select the image to be resized enter the new width , and compression ratio desired in the relevant boxes. When you select 'view result' the selected photo will be displayed at the size and compression selected.
The filesize of the new image is also displayed. You may make adjustments and 'view result' until you achieve the desired combination of size, quality and filesize.
You then have the option of either saving in the original folder or selecting a location. The default naming method used is detailed below, or you may of course choose your own name.
The original image remains unaltered.
f you have a number of images you want to make the same size you may shift click to open the images.
A listbox will appear below the 'select picture/s to resize' button showing the files selected.
Choose any image from the listbox to adjust size and compression of and select 'view result'
You may continue adjustments, selecting 'View Result' until the displayed image meets your requirements.
Select a new location if desired. Upon selecting 'SAVE' all open images will be saved to the selected folder at the size and compression viewed, using the default file naming system.
The default naming method was chosen to make it easy to identify different copies of the same image in cases when they are stored in the same folder.
The original source image remains unaltered.
